    Presented By: Diane Chaske Hanson

Let a rambunctious rescue dog named Dewey show you some tricks. During this humorous and engaging session, you’ll gain insights that will make you a better leader. The session will begin with a brief background of the book and its genesis.  We will then divide into small groups to do a leadership exercise and share the outcomes.  This will lead to a discussion of leadership techniques and how different techniques are required in different settings.  And finally, a discussion of how this applies to training and managing dogs and people and how the connection helps leaders to remember some of the key points.

    Attendees will learn:

    • How to deal with different leadership situations
    • How to be a more effective leader and communicator
    • How basic leadership skills apply to dogs and people
