    For the last 6 years it has been an employer’s market in talent acquisition. As the pendulum begins to swing  in the other direction,  capitalizing on a strategy to attract people to your organization is crucial We all know hiring the right talent is at the core of a successful business, yet the complexity of recruiting sources and practices is increasing. How can an organization maximize efforts through a recruitment strategy?

    This discussion will help the audience gain a better understanding of the recruiting landscape and develop a framework from which to build and evaluate the recruitment function.

    SpeakerLaura M. Gleason is a certified Senior Human Resources Professional and a University of Delaware graduate.  After a successful 11-year career in corporate HR, Laura started her own recruiting firm to deliver recruiting services and talent management consulting to companies within a variety of industries. Ten years later in January 2014, Laura joined AAA Mid-Atlantic and is the Director of Recruitment and Retention.  AAA MA, which spans 5 states and the District of Columbia and employs close to 3000 people, demonstrates strong support of women in leadership. Laura is on the board of Junior Achievement and teaches and coaches continuing education students at the University of Delaware. She lives in Pike Creek, Delaware with her husband.  They have two young men in college.
