ADA Jeopardy: Are You Ready? Ever since the ADA came into existence it has been a challenge for HR professionals, but subsequent to its amendments, the focus has changed. It is because of these changes that HR needs to be heard and understood in this evolving area of the law. Today, supervisors' thoughts are not always right, accommodations are not what you think and how you analyze these issues - has been turned on its head. This is the program where your competitive nature, alleged knowledge and actual situations all come into play, literally. In this session participants will consider issues, face their fears and tackle situations, but not each other, while considering limitations to accommodations, activities to perceptions and the latest decisions. Engaging discussion and practical examples will enlighten everyone as we competitively enhance everyone's competency through this highly interactive exercise in ADA Jeopardy. Attendees will: learn the latest issues surrounding ADA compliance in the workplace; gain practical understanding of ways to strategically plan for your organizational ADA needs; and enhance participants' comfort level when dealing with ADA issues in their organization.
